Low-end SRX firewalls list from roughly $300 and high-end units stay under $60 k, yet NSS Labs calculated $105 per protected Mbps—far higher than top competitors. Advanced Threat Prevention cloud, threat-feed updates and other protections are separate add-on subscriptions. Hardware looks inexpensive, but the extra licenses and elevated cost per Gbps make overall spending average rather than a clear bargain.
Functionality
Juniper SRX delivers next-generation firewall functions such as IPS, application control, cloud sandboxing, TLS 1.3 decryption and built-in SD-WAN in one device.
